You might see Mrs. Miller in one of your classes doing some fun poetry “stuff” but if not, you can come down here and enter three library contests yourself!
1. Make a magnetic poetry poem. Have Mrs. Miller take a picture of it and it will be entered in the contest!
2. If you have Twitter, write a 140 character Twitter poem. Hashtag? We got one! #ILHSPoetry
3. Come down and make a found poem in one of our discarded reference books (Yes! You can write in the books!)
At the end of the month, we will judge the best poem in the three categories–and each winner will get a $10 iTunes gift card…because, after all, music is poetry.
